Arthropodium Renga Renga Lily
Used widely as a ground-cover for dry shade and under trees. Forms large clumps of broad, medium-green, arching foliage. Bears graceful, airy sprays of lovely white star-shaped flowers on 1m stems from spring to mid-summer.
Plant in full sun or light shade. Prefer free-draining soil rich in organic matter. Nectar for bees from September-December. Seeds January-March. Tolerates coastal winds. Gets frosted back in Canterbury, however will come away in Spring. Hardy.
